Have you done your school supply shopping yet? Do it online if you want to avoid crowds.

Visit St. Norbert’s Farmer’s Market 3-7pm and then enjoy the area. Take a relaxing stroll in La Barrière Park, enjoy a farm tour at Aurora Farm, wander through the historical Trappist Monastery.

Downtown Indoor Farmer's Market @ City Place from 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM; Every Thursday until Sept. 24.

Still time to enjoy a wading pool or splash pad in your neighborhood! Some large city pools like Pan Am are open now also.

Head to the Children’s Museum to check out all the galleries and their cool Wild Kratts Ocean Adventure exhibit until Sept 7th

Head to Winnipeg Beach, Gimli or Grand Beach for one last beach day with the family!

It’s Labour Day! The last long weekend of the summer! Plan a fun day for your family as tomorrow is Back to School!

Kids head back to school today! Send a special treat and note to surprise them at lunch time.

Read a book together as a family. Read at breakfast or dinner. Choose a book that everyone can read together

Have the kids write letters to family and friends in other cities. Letter writing is a lost art.

Watch a classic movie together as a family tonight.

Visit Assiniboine Park and the Zoo for a wonderful family experience. You can enjoy a picnic in the park or have lunch at the Park Café.

Go for a family walk or bike ride together. Plan an outdoor scavenger hunt and make the prize something everyone can enjoy!
