Bring your Children Along for a 5k Walk in the Park June 1
Today is the perfect day to register for CancerCare Manitoba Foundation’s Challenge for Life. We are inviting you to be part of this incredibly inspiring event in Assiniboine Park with hundreds of other like-minded Challengers.
By participating in the Challenge for Life, you can take action and raise critical funds that will improve the cancer journey for Manitobans. At the same time, you’ll be protecting your tomorrows and reducing your own risk of cancer through exercise. The funds you raise will support early detection, local cancer research, world-class treatment, and vital programs and services at CancerCare Manitoba.

Looking for more of a challenge, register for the full 20km walk or the 200-minute workout. Or, complete your own challenge virtually to reach a distance of 20km or 200 minutes of fitness anytime from May 25-June 1.
Since 2008, Challengers have raised more than $16 million to change lives and support the work of CancerCare Manitoba. This is possible because of each individual who says “YES” to taking the challenge. Each of them has a powerful reason for why they #TaketheChallenge that fuels them. This year, you can be a part of this incredible group of people all moving toward the same goal…a future free of cancer.
The money raised supports many, many projects and services including:
• Local research that impacts Manitobans with cancer
• Educating Manitobans about how to reduce their personal risk of cancer
• Making screening programs accessible across Manitoba to allow early detection and more effective treatment options
• Ensuring that emotional and physical support programs are available to Manitobans affected by cancer and their families.
Register as an individual, community team, or corporate team. People of all ages and abilities can have fun participating in the Challenge! Children five years old and younger are not required to fundraise.
