For most of our Winnipeg Parent readers, summertime means family time. Whether they are visits to Assiniboine Park Zoo, day trips to one of our many sun-drenched beaches, or longer road trips out of Manitoba, Toyota has the perfect vehicle for the everyday or your next getaway. From managing everyday errands to weekend excursions, Toyota offers vehicles that are the right balance of unmatched reliability, performance, and head-turning design. Highlanders, RAVs, 4Runners and more, there is a perfect family car for everyone, as Stacey Kasdorf recently discovered.
A full-time content creator and SAHM (Stay at Home Mom), Stacey was born and currently lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Mom to three little girls Everly, Rosie and Zara, she shares her passion for motherhood, health and wellness, fashion, and family travel to her large following on social media. Stacey grew up in Winnipeg with two siblings and has fond memories of family trips near and far. With both parents busy running their own businesses, her own family today finds that long trips abroad are not always possible. As a result, family road trips were top of mind when Stacey and her husband recently went looking for a new car. Whether it was going to be short weekend vacays in Manitoba such as at Hecla Lakeview Resort, or longer journeys to a memorable childhood destination such as Utah, “we wanted a seven-seater so that we could possibly bring friends along on these road trips, and just to make regular carpooling easier,” explains Stacey.
A big factor when car shopping was that they did not want a bench seat for the second row. Seeing their friends struggle getting the bench seats down every time they needed to use the back row of seats was an eye opener, so the captain seats in the second row of the Toyota Grand Highlander was a big draw. Stacey says enthusiastically, “my girls and their friends can head straight to the back row of seats without any hassle!”. In addition to the versatile seating configurations, the Grand Highlander has plenty of room for storage. For weekend trips to their cottage, the back seat folds down and they can fit all the girls’ bikes inside with room to spare.
Perhaps most importantly, Stacey loves the look of the Toyota Grand Highlander: “I love the design and look of the car, and even though it’s a larger vehicle, it still looks sporty”. This is not your parent’s wood-paneled station wagon, or the family vans of yesteryear; the Grand Highlander has bold styling on the outside, and all the comforts of a luxury vehicle on the inside. Stacey and her family look forward to traveling in style and comfort in the upcoming years. Whether they are the daily runs to cheerleading practice, weekend excursions to the cottage, or epic road trips to Minneapolis and beyond, they are ready for their next adventure!
